Tache is a London-based gallery dedicated to showcasing emerging artists. Inspired by the experimental spirit of the surrounding contemporary art scene, Tache was founded in 2024 with an intent to move away from the traditional gallery model to focus on investing in early-career artists.
Tache strives to represent artists in the truest definition of the word. We not only provide artists with the opportunity for their first solo show, but offer guidance and advocacy at the outset of their art career: a point at which so many lack the visibility and financial security they deserve. We aim to supply artists with a safe space for artistic development and experimentation, and to help build their confidence in navigating today’s art world.
We believe that artists are the beating heart of our gallery. Without our artists and their immense talent, our exhibitions would not be possible. Our relationships with our artists are collaborative first and foremost. Each exhibition is a collective endeavor where we work alongside the artist through every step of the process in order to bring their vision to life.
At Tache, we aim to uplift artists from underrepresented backgrounds, drawing attention to those who may otherwise be overlooked in an industry that can be narrow and inaccessible. Our exhibition programme includes open callouts for artwork, designed to extend opportunities to artists active outside of the traditional academic and gallery systems.
